Then there was a rainbow. The Norwegians seemed unimpressed with it. Come to find out they don't like rainbows too much because they appear BEFORE the rain comes. Go figure. I thought it was beautiful. |
| Later in the week I took a SHIP (coast liner that locals use like a ferry) about three hours south to Bronysond. Along the trip I took many pictures or the countryside. Here's one of a church that is over 1,000 years old! | ![]() |

The town was charming. It is also a port visited by ferries and coast liners. I played three nights at Monica's. I was lucky enough to be able to stay in an apartment on the first floor of her house and walked to town each day enjoying the sites of this seaside town. |
| This was a view just around the corner from my apartment. I really loved all of the wooden boats. The seaside condominiums seen here sell for about $500,000! | ![]() |

Here's a picture of an old wooden boat docked in town. It's called a toiler - an old fashioned Norwegian fishing boat.
